Dr Teicher visited a breakthrough activity that was held this weekend in the Ransom Everglades middle school site . She reports: “My motivation was to understand the operation better and to identify among their female students, those who are gifted in math and could join the “Girls are for STEM “ when they reaching sophomore, (even if they are not from the schools we work with). I was very happy to see that one of the volunteer instructors in the Robotics activity is one of “my “girls ! Another instructor is a sophomore in Ransom , a super star in math and will join our program next year. This might be the place to mention that two of our indergraute in “Math is for the future “ program applied to be instructors in the Breakthrough summer program. A win-win” - Mina TeicherPurpose
