IMSA & TYAN/SBM Joint Event: TYAN-Humboldt Workshop in Mathematics

TYAN Thematic Workshops in Mathematics is made up of a series of workshops that aim to bring together internationally renowned mathematicians to discuss and promote high-level mathematics in different subareas and topics, always aiming at a gender balance and regional diversity, with a special focus on developing countries.

These events are organized by the Brazilian Mathematical Society together with TYAN (TWAS Young Affiliate Network), TWAS-LACREP (Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Partner of The World Academy of Sciences) and Academia Jovem de Argentina. It also has the support of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the Mexican Society of Mathematics.

From  October 2 to 6, 2023, the event “TYAN-Humboldt Workshop in Mathematics”  will be held at the University of Brasília – UnB  , which aims to bring together renowned mathematicians to discuss and promote high-level mathematics in different areas and disciplines, with geographic diversity and balance.

The scientific committee of this event has the participation of renowned mathematicians:
