Abstract: Dr. Julio Frenk, President of the University of Miami and Interim CEO of UHealth, and Dr. Simon Levin, James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor and Director of the Center for BioComplexity at Princeton University shed some light on the connection among mathematical modeling, predictions of health outcomes, and social consequences across the Americas. Following brief presentations by President Frenk and Professor Levin, there will be a question and answer session moderated by Professors Ernesto Lupercio and Gabriela Olmedo-Alvarez of CINVESTAV.
